Gomoku Rules
Gomoku is a classic strategy board game for two players. The objective is simple: place five stones of your color in a row before your opponent.
Basic Rules
- ✓The game is played on a 15×15 board.
- ✓Players alternate placing stones, Black goes first.
- ✓The first player to align five stones horizontally, vertically, or diagonally wins.
- ✓In this version, we use freestyle rules — no restrictions on double-three or double-four.
Tips for Beginners
- 1.Start near the center of the board.
- 2.Try to build threats in multiple directions simultaneously.
- 3.Always watch for your opponent's threats and block them.
- 4.An open four (unblocked four in a row) almost always wins.
